A 22-year-old man is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking after he was involved in a collision on Highway 11 on Wednesday morning.
Lumsden RCMP responded to a complaint of a single vehicle crash near Bethune at 10 a.m. While on scene, officers learned that the driver of the vehicle had a current warrant for his arrest under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The man was arrested on scene and a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 461 grams of suspected cocaine. He made his first court appearance in Regina Thursday will appear again in court on July 24.
